The Professor ("we", "our", "the app") is a sports analytics and educational platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. • Account data: email or username, password hash, display name, and preferences you provide.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, picks viewed, bets you choose to track, and timestamps. Used to power your history, analytics, ROI, and CLV tools.
• Subscription data: tier, billing cycle, status, and renewal dates. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.
• Device & log data: IP address, browser, OS, and crash diagnostics for security and debugging.
• Notification tokens: if you opt in, web-push subscription endpoints so we can deliver alerts you requested.

• Provide, secure, and improve the app and its analytics features.
• Generate personalized history, ROI, and bankroll views.
• Send transactional emails and (if enabled) push notifications.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

We collect anonymized in-app usage metrics to understand what features are working. This data is aggregated and does not identify you individually.

Subscription billing is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). When you subscribe, you provide payment information directly to the processor. We receive only the information necessary to confirm your subscription status and renewal date.

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

We rely on the following categories of processors:

• Cloud hosting and database (managed backend provider).
• Payment processing (Stripe).
• AI inference (for generating analytics and insights from sports data).
• Sports data and odds providers.
• Crash diagnostics and error reporting.

The Professor is intended only for users who meet the legal wagering age in their jurisdiction (typically 18 or 21+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.
